Guest Ratings & Reviews
Upon arrival, we noticed a strong moldy smell in the room, but being late at night, we refrained from raising the issue immediately. The room itself was disappointingly tiny with minimal space for luggage or hanging clothes, making it our least favorite aspect of this hotel. On the bright side, the room was impeccably clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable.
Upon arrival, we found the room to be missing the sitting area and wardrobe described in our reservation, but we enjoyed the peaceful ambiance and stunning landscape. The slight moldy smell was a downside, but we opted not to address it immediately due to the late hour. Overall, a tranquil retreat with some room for improvement.
Staying at this hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms had a functional interior design, but were quite small and gave off a student room vibe, which felt claustrophobic for me. There was an intense mold smell upon arrival, but since it was late at night, we chose not to address it immediately. The service was a bit of a hit or miss - while they were friendly and provided great dinner recommendations, they seemed forgetful at times. The location, however, was a big win, being perfect for exploring Lyon without the noise of the main city area. The dining experience lacked variety but was fresh and plentiful. I didn't have any specific comments on the facilities.
The hotel offers modern and clean rooms with comfortable beds and free access to premium movies, making for a silent retreat in the bustling city center. Service was efficient and professional, though some items needed requesting multiple times. The convenient location allows for easy exploration on foot, with lovely extra touches like complimentary aperitifs. Dining, while solid, could use improvement in freshness and variety. Overall, a value-for-money stay with great amenities and a few minor hiccups.
Upon arrival, the room had an intense mold smell, but it became very user-friendly and functional. The rooms are quite modern with comfortable beds and free access to premium movies. The service is excellent, providing directions and being very friendly. The location is also the best to explore Lyon, very central for easy walking. The dining is great with a nice variety, but can get busy. The facilities are well-maintained. The price is reasonable for the value offered.
The hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were a bit smaller than expected but the concept of the 'superior room' made it a more sociable stay. On the downside, the rooms should not be available to receive guests.
